Candied Bacon & Bourbon Ribs
INGREDIENTS
1 rack St. Louis style ribs
BBQ Rub (I used Killer Hogs: The BBQ Rub)
Olive Oil
Sauce
1/2 bottle vinegar BBQ sauce (I used Killer Hogs)
1/2 bottle BBQ sauce (I used Killer Hogs)
1 cup sriracha candied bacon
2-3 shots bourbon
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Serves 3-5
Cover ribs in oil, season thoroughly with BBQ rub. Smoke for 3 hours at 225F. Wrap in foil and smoke another 1.5-2 hours.
Make your sriracha candied bacon and set aside.
Make your Sauce: Combine vinegar sauce, BBQ sauce & bourbon. Simmer for several minutes. Add chopped candied bacon.
Unwrap ribs, cover in sauce. Smoke for another 30 min-1 hour.
Remove ribs and pair with a glass of bourbon. Enjoy!
