Salmon Candy
INGREDIENTS
1.5lbs of salmon
2-3T sesame seeds
Marinade
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/8 cup mirin
1/4 cup brown sugar (Keto version use monk fruit sugar)
2-3T fresh grated ginger
1T Killer Hogs: The BBQ Rub
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Serves 3-4
Cut salmon into 1/4 - 1/8 inch slices.
Make the Marinade: mix soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar (Keto version use monk fruit sugar 1:1 ratio), fresh grated ginger, Killer Hogs: The BBQ Rub. Mix well.
Add salmon to the marinade and marinate 2 hours.
Place on trays and top with more BBQ rub and sesame seeds.
Bake at the lowest temp your oven will go (At 170F degrees it took about 5 hours).
End result is jerky style candied salmon for a fun protein snack!
